Guideline is originally a Norwegian fly fishing company. They have been designing and developing their own fly fishing products since 1991 and the brand was registered in 1993. From the introduction of Guideline's first fly rods and the pioneering Power TaperTM slugs, the range has grown to include most of modern fly fishing. In 2001, Guidelines' Swedish operations were established and they expanded internationally. Guideline does all product development in-house; idea, prototype, testing and final production. Today, Guideline is in every way a Scandinavian company with sales to more than 25 countries.
