Guideline Presentation+ WF Floating - Fly line

The first generation Presentation WF came in 2002 and has been a bestseller for many years. Originally designed for trout anglers who like to fish small and intimate waters, where careful presentations and discretion are more important than long casts. At the same time, the Presentation WF is a fantastic all-round line that is easy to cast for all users and performs superbly at distances up to roughly 20 meters. When fishing in tight spots with no room for a back cast, this line outperforms other models with longer head. You can carry less line off the tip and shoot further with a Presentation WF.

Having a large proportion of the weight at the back of the head also makes it a perfect line for all types of casts that start from the water, such as spey and switch casts. Presentation is a fast line due to its short back tapering and compressed head. The long front taper gives a smooth transition of speed to the leader which makes it present the fly nicely when dry fly fishing with normal or long leaders. In class #5 and #6 it has enough power to also cast slightly heavier nymphs and streamers.

On this new generation of line called Presentation+, we have improved the versatility even more by increasing the thickness of the action and shooting line. This helps to balance the overroll and give the line a more balanced flight in the air. It also gives you the ability to work with even more line than the actual headlength off the tip when casting. Presentation+ provides better balance and stability in the rope bows and you will not get that "hinge effect" that is common on short ropes head.

The head length to weight ratio of this line is carefully chosen to give the line enough power and speed to load the ghost ring well and flip over larger and bushy flies. This lint tape works well on windy days and will be less affected than a longer head with the weight spread over its entire length. The short head one offers great opportunities to perform various presentation throws and speed changes. Despite the low line diameter, this line floats well and the smooth and smooth coating improves performance and reduces memory problems even on cold days.

The line is built around a braided multifilament core with well-balanced longitudinal stretch. There are small, flexible factory-made welded loops in the front and back of the line and a laser ID marking near the tip. Both the carton and the coil are environmentally friendly and recyclable. The color of the head is Pale Greyish Gold and the firing line has a subtle Cool Gray tone. Presentation+ is available as floating headline from WF2F to WF6F.
