This is a double tapered variant of the very popular RIO Premier Technical Trout fly line.
RIO Premier Technical Trout has a long, soft and incredibly well-balanced front taper that delivers great presentations to shy fish. The line is ideal for fishing with dry flies, nymphs, wet flies and hatchers on fish that are not fooled easily. Although most fish are caught within a short distance, there is plenty of performance in this line to cast really far. The line has a long lump and a back tapering that helps you control your loops when casting far, this so that you can also make nice presentations to watchful fish on the other side of the river. The weight distribution on the lump makes it easy to flip over long leaders .
Dualtone: The line is dual-tone to give you an indication of the optimal shooting position.
EasyID: Each line has a printed ID tag to easily identify it.
Front & Back Welded Loop: The line has factory made loops on both ends to quickly connect to leader and backing.
Slickcast
Slickcast is the coating that gives your fly line the best glide and durability on the market. A fly line with Slickcast coating gives rise to the least friction ever measured on a fly line.
Max Float Tip
Maxfloat Tip is a technology that makes the tip of your fly line float twice as high as a normal tip, without increasing the diameter.
